​Registered Member

Any person employed or practising in the Methamphetamine Testing Industry, that holds an appropriate Qualification (list of qualifications to be determined by the Board. The Board reserves the right to recognise applications from experienced, non-qualified people working and practising in this category.

·       Approved use of nominal Logo MTIANZ on individual business cards (only)

·       Annual CPD Requirements.

Associate Member

Any person that is employed and engaged in a technical role, Council, or Accredited Laboratory but who do not practice within the methamphetamine testing industry, and therefore not eligible for a ‘Registered Member’ category.

Affiliate Member

Any person not eligible for Registered or Associate Membership status but who are actively engaged in the employment, supervision and /or support of Methamphetamine testing, and their various roles. E.g. Local government management and staff, government officials, those working in and supporting related and affiliated disciplines such as Decontamination, and Insurance.

Corporate Member

Any private associations or companies engaged or interested in Methamphetamine testing (not open to any TAs or BCAs).

Other Membership Categories Available

​Life Member

Any member of the Association who has given the Association outstanding service may be nominated by another member through a Branch for election as having Life member status subject to full agreement of the board.

Honorary Member

Any person of acknowledged eminence in one or more fields within the scope of the Associations Objects may have this privilege bestowed on them by full agreement of the Board.

·       No Voting Rights.

Retired Member

Any person holding membership in the class of Registered and Associate may on retiring from all active work duties apply to the Board for re-grading as a Retired Member.

·       No Voting Rights.

Student Member

Any person not in full time employment and enrolled in a tertiary course of full-time study approved by the Board and associated within the Methamphetamine Testing Industry, for a maximum period of 5 years.

·       No Voting Rights.

Not for Profit

A membership based organisation, which exists for the support, education, or charitable reasons,
and from which its members do not directly benefit financially.

·       No Voting Rights.

3.3 The Board may from time to time appoint a sub-committee or task force to carry out a specific task, the scope of activity and the time frame for which shall be defined at the time of establishing the group.
